Woodinville Project

These clients have had us work on their property over a number of years. We started in the back garden with a huge Koi pond with a long stream and a sitting area. Next came some additional garden beds and a walkway that will eventually lead to the front garden.

This year we are starting on the front garden. The idea is this will be a “secret” garden. Plant material will screen the view so it will only be revealed as you walk the path. There is a dry creek bed with a stone slab bridge that creates the threshold into the garden. Huge basalt columns near the sitting area will shield your view and make you feel surrounded. A small basalt dish stone water feature and plant material in shades of cream, yellow and purple with a strong emphasis on native plants will complete the garden. Matching fencing is being added to enclose the space and finally a new entrance with a custom metal gate will be installed.
