Recent Projects

June was a great month for Falling Water Designs!  We installed several small three column basalt water features, helped reclaim a neglected garden, installed a garden in a new townhouse, cleaned a ton of ponds, installed a stream and pond in Mercer Island and finished up some additional work in several repeat customers’ gardens! Can you say busy?!

The owners of this Marysville garden have a great back garden but a section of garden behind the garage had gotten away from them and was full of weeds. So in we came and got rid of the weeds, installed weed block, decorative crushed stone, brought in planting soil and new plants. Since they love color we echoed their fun colors of the house; orange, chartreuse and yellow.  We also built a raised vegetable bed for them.

This homeowner recently moved into a newly constructed townhouse.  The back garden is typical for new construction; a small exposed aggregate patio, sod and a fence.  The garden is very small.  We expanded the patio area using pavers in gray and charcoal, installed new soil, plant material in purples and yellow, a decorative crushed stone walkway down the side of the garden and mulch.

On this project the homeowner wanted a small easy-care water feature in their garden.  We took out some lawn, installed a three column basalt water feature, new garden soil, and plants in pink.

Here we have a few pictures of various clients who had us back this month to finish their multi-season garden installation.  Are you overwhelmed by the idea of taking on the whole garden at once?  Let Falling Water Designs help you get started in one portion of the garden with a plan for the entire thing over time.
