Description
Beautiful HImalayan species growing at high altitude, blooming in late spring to early summer. Each leaf has 3 leaflets, each leaflet with deeply impressed veins. The flowers are deep purple with white stripes; the hood of the spathe swoops down with a long, thread-like appendage. This species is easier in cool summer areas.
