Description

This beautiful member of the Lily Family, also known as the Dog-tooth Violet, produces a small flower nodding from the top of a leafless stem which opens each morning and closes each night, but during the middle of the day it opens so far that the petals are all curved backwards. Best grown in a deciduous woodland environment where it will receive filtered light in the spring.
