Curly Mint

Out of stock

Description

This spreading mint has aromatic, lance-shaped to oblong foliage. It bears cylindrical spikes of pink, lilac or white flowers, which are very attractive to butterflies. These plants are disease and rust resistant. They like lots of sun and water, but are very invasive and are best grown in containers. They are hardy and will die back to ground in winter. Top dress with compost in autumn if the plants are not lifted annually. A fragrant, ornamental plant, mint has many culinary uses: the essential oil is used is cosmetics, including soaps and colognes and as a flavor ingredient in products such as chewing gum and toothpaste.
