Description

Narrow leaved Cattail have slender, graceful leaves that grow to heights of 5 – 6 feet. Narrow chocolate brown spikes with male and female flowers are separated by a small gap distinguish this plant. This is a larger species compared to other varieties that we offer. Cattails are commonly used to form a dense screen or for a vertical accent in the pond. Plants will spread aggressively, though, and are best contained in pots. They can be grown in constantly Prefers Wet Soil or submerged with up to 12 inches of water over the plant crown. Grow in full sun or light shade.
