Description
Chocolate vine is a deciduous to semi-evergreen woody vine. It is a large very vigorous vine growing up to 40ft with palmately compound leaves. It is easy to grow in well-drained soil and prefers full sun but can live in deep shade conditions. Fragrant red-purple flowers appear in early spring and large violet fruit pods split open in the fall.
