Cornus kousa ‘Milky Way’

Kousa Dogwood, Milky Way Dogwood

Description

Cornus kousa ‘Milky Way’ is a small deciduous tree with four seasons of interest. In spring, large creamy-white, star-shaped flowers cover the tree. These flowers give way to strawberry-like fruit in summer. These will last until fall unless eaten by birds. The leaves are dark green in summer and turn an attractive shade of red/orange. In the winter the mottled, tan, and gray bark adds interest to the landscape. This tree is generally pest free.
