This excellent specimen is a tardiana hybrid with intensely blue foliage and clusters of near-white flowers.Medium-sized mound of intensely blue foliage over which dense clusters of near-white flowers that open in late July. There is excellent contrast between blue foliage and white flowers.The deep blue-green color enhance the look of the unusual placement of the leaves, non-layering and jutting appearance. The pointed leaves facing a multitude of directions appear as a flock of frightened birds scattering in in the wind.
