A favorite for many years with cut flower grows, both professionals and home gardeners, this is a fine variety for easy to arrange early summer bouquets – just cut 8 to 12 stems about foot long, drop them in a wide mouth vase and voila! – a beautiful centerpiece. Edulis Superba sometimes benefits from a little support to keep the flower-laden stems upright. An heirloom variety, grown since 1824.
