Description
Tender, aquatic perennial commonly known as the Two-Leaf Clover. Quick grower up to 6 inches high and spreading with glossy green, double leaves. There is a small, creamy green color at the center of the leaf and this is surrounded by a reddish hue that blends into the rest of the leaf. Shiny leaves move on the surface if placed near a waterfall or fountain. water beads sparkle on the foliage. Place in water no deeper than 2 inches over the crown. In colder regions, allow to go dormant in a non-freezing location, but do not let the plant dry out. An exceptional pond plant. The specific epithet diphyllum means having two leaves.
