Hydrangea-PistachioHydrangea ‘Pistachio’

This gorgeous variety is a must-have. If you’re new to gardening, you might as well start with an easy-to-grow shrub with blooms that will absolutely blow you away! From late spring or early summer through fall, you’ll be dazzled by wide bloom heads filled with petals of lime green accented with deep pink. You truly do have to see these flowers to believe them!

Juncus 'Curly Wurly'Juncus ‘Curly Wurly’

Aptly named, this unique rush with glossy green, pencil-thin stems that spiral outward from the clump to eight inches in all directions. A great deer-resistant accent plant that collectors dare not do without. This low maintenance plant prefers to be sited in a bog or other very moist environment in partial shade.

  • Light need: Full Sun to Part Shade
  • Plant characteristic: Semi-Evergreen

Sarracenia Heavy Veins Sarracenia flava var. cuprea Heavy Veins

Dramatic architectural form and color makes a striking focal point near the edge of water features. Large 4-foot long fronds are blue-green in summer with new growth covered in white hairs. Fertile fronds are a contrasting cinnamon brown.

Delphinium-Aurora-Deep-PurpleDelphinium ‘Aurora Deep Purple’

Delphinium ‘Aurora Deep Purple’ bears tall, densely packed spires of royal purple, semi-double flowers which grace the garden from late spring to midsummer. Each individual blossom of this vigorous hybrid is decorated with a small white “bee”, or central tuft of stamens. The vivid blooms arise from basal clumps of deeply lobed, rich green foliage, and are visited by butterflies and hummingbirds.

The rich color, deep purple almost back, is offset by the large, frilly, double-petaled head. This hearty poppy seed is valued for its architectural pepper-pot shaped seed pod that will self-seed in your flower bed for additional seasons of color.
