2020 August Newsletter

Formal sunken garden, part of the wedding venue exclusively at Falling Water Gardens in Monroe Washington

Welcome to August’s Newsletter

Happy August to all of you! We would like to thank those of you that have visited the nursery this season and those who attended our 12th anniversary party! We love seeing the familiar faces. Your continued support is greatly appreciated, now more than ever!

Now that August is here, there are several things pond and garden owners need to get ready for as the days grow shorter and colder. We’re discussing late summer garden maintenance for this month’s How-To.

Check out What’s New and Sales going on at Falling Water Gardens. For plants looking good right now, head on over to the Cool Plants section. Visit our events and classes page to learn more about hosting weddings or events at Falling Water Gardens. This month we are featuring a Koi pond & garden installation job that took place in Monroe, Washington — check it out in the Recent Projects section. This month’s Featured Koi is a Kikokuryu.

The featured image for this month is of our new formal sunken garden. Interested in getting married at Falling Water Gardens? Schedule a personal tour with us!

Did you know?

Falling Water Designs LogoYou may simply know us as Falling Water Gardens, the aquatic nursery and garden center in Monroe with the big fountains and display gardens. Did you know that the parent company, Falling Water Designs has been designing and installing award winning gardens and water features in the Puget Sound since the year 2000? It’s true! And we’ve been featured countless times in the media. We were also featured on HGTV’s show Landscaper’s Challenge not once, but twice. We’ve won awards with the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals, The Northwest Flower and Garden Show and the American Horticulture Society. We must be doing something right.
