You’ll love the charming bi colored flowery spikes of fiery orange and a hint of blue. And so will the hummingbirds, butterflies and honeybees it attracts. A distinctive addition for any border. Drought tolerant and easy to grow in any garden soil.

Water HyacinthWater Hyacinth

The Water Hyacinth is a beautiful plant. It has glossy green leaves and lavender blue flowers. The submerged roots are long and hairy and chocolatey brown. They serve as an excellent hiding place and spawning location for many fish.

water lilyWater Lilys

Water lilies can be grown in a tub on the patio or in ponds of any size. They grow from tubers planted in pots beneath the water and send up stems with rounded leaves and star-shaped blossoms that float on the surface. Hardy lilies are dependable and easy to plant — a good choice for the beginner. Daytime bloomers, they blossom in the morning and close after sunset, lasting three or four days before sinking beneath the surface.

Heuchera 'Forever Purple'Heuchera ‘Forever Purple’

‘Forever Purple’ is a knockout with ultra-purple glossy leaves with fluted edges and great vigor. Very short spikes of purple-pink flowers in summer and four seasons of purple.

Coneflower 'Double Scoop Mandarin'Coneflower ‘Double Scoop Mandarin’

Echinacea, a North American genus in the Daisy family, produces big, bright flowers from late June until frost. Plants thrive in average soils, withstand hot, dry conditions, and shrug off cold. Blooms last well cut or dried, and the seeds in the large cone at the heart of the flower head provide nourishment for birds.

French Multiflora RoseFrench Multiflora Rose

From June on wards, clusters of apricot buds open into slightly disheveled, pale chamois flowers, the color becoming more intense and taking on peach tints as autumn draws near. Even in December, new buds are forming, despite weather that prevents them from opening. Few thorns and a stiff growth habit make this a good choice for growing against a trellis or wall.
