Recent Projects

This month Falling Water Designs completed quite a few small garden renovations as well as two really big projects at the nursery.

3fauxcolumsIn one project we removed an old outdated 1960’s relic of a water feature and updated it with three new “faux” basalt columns with water gushing over all three columns.

steephillIn another project we helped some clients update the last of the garden beds after a new outdoor kitchen was installed. We cleaned up a steep slope and planted groundcovers to bind the soil. We also brought in new soil and plants to finish off all the planting beds around the outdoor kitchen.

tent2_03At the nursery we are proud to announce two huge new additions! We installed two temporary “glamping” tents. The tents will be used by bridal parties when they are preparing for their wedding at the nursery. When not in use for weddings we will be renting the tents out by the night. The tents will be available from mid-June until end of September annually. Next time you need a night away, or if you have out-of-town guests think about putting them up here. One or both tents can be rented by the night. Next time you’re at the nursery ask to see the tents or check them out here: http://fallingwatergardens.com/glamping

wedding03We also hosted the first wedding at the nursery. A lot of work went into preparing for the event. We added a huge parking lot for all the cars, the two glamping tents for the bridal party to use, expanded the already expansive garden beds around the large lawn and installed about 50 additional low voltage garden lights. Our first wedding had a party for about 140 guests and the whole thing went off without a hitch! Are you or someone you know considering a wedding next summer? Consider Falling Water Gardens. We will be hosting weddings from Mid-June through end of September annually. Check out our wedding page here: http://fallingwatergardens.com/weddings
